Discover the art of seeing everyday objects in a new light as you create one-of-a-kind jewelry from upcycled and unconventional materials led by Artist Lisa Beckman. In this imaginative, hands-on workshop, participants will transform discarded, overlooked, and unexpected items into wearable works of art.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary artists who challenge traditional notions of precious materials, you'll experiment with creative design approaches while learning techniques for assembling, altering, and embellishing your pieces. Along the way, you'll explore ideas of sustainability, resourcefulness, and personal expression.
No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to look at the ordinary in extraordinary ways. All materials are provided.
$35 for Museum members, $55 for non-members. Registration required.
