Hot glass and live music come together and live music come togethere for a memorable evening during Glass After Dark. This month, watch the Perry Glass Studio team up with Visiting Artist Danny White to take molten material to exciting places! 

Danny White aka Ethan Windy has been entertaining with his art for over three decades. He received a Bachelors degree in Fine Art and has continued his studies internationally. Originally, White’s primary focus was in painting and drawing mediums, until around 2007 when he experienced glass.

Danny White has found his voice with his glasswork in part by approaching his process much as he would his 2-D creations. Through emphasis on strategic color pallet and visual composition he is able to convey his intention and message within the glass. His figurative work and narrative collectively solidify concept and showcase personality unique to the material.

“I focus my energy on creating work that bridges the gap between mediums using a cohesive aesthetic. My goal is to make art that creates opportunities to travel to new places and meet new people. Through this I create what I experience and enjoy telling the story.”

White currently lives and works in Seattle, WA. He maintains a private art studio and gallery located in a maritime part of the city.
