Always down to disrupt, mash up, and flashback, IgNITE: Superfly Superhero celebrates the metahumans, caped crusaders, do-gooders, and villains alike who have captured our imaginations and made tights fashion forward. Come as your favorite vintage DC or Marvel character, channel a Japanese manga or anime icon, or dream up your own alter ego for this mind-blowing art party. It’s an all-in evening with high voltage drawing squad battles, live 70s funk music, dimension-defying DJ beats, cosplay contests, a mini-arcade, and KAPOW! a super-powered lineup of illustrators, comic book writers, zine makers, caricature artists, and anime and manga vendors.

Taking inspiration from two exhibitions at the Chrysler Museum filled with character and characters – Woman in the Window: Tiffany's Masterpiece Reunited and Define Yourself!, IgNITE: Superfly Superhero is a celebration of YOU and only YOU.  Let’s walk in our light and share our narrative at this superpowered, supernatural, and most of all supercharged IgNITE.
