Grand Illumination Parade Participation
DATE: Saturday 11/21/26 TIME: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
The Chrysler Museum of Art has been selected to participate in Downtown Norfolk’s 2026 Grand Illumination Parade this November, and we want you to be part of it!
Museum members and staff will march in the parade representing the Chrysler Museum of Art community with handmade lanterns that represent the Museum’s positive impact in the community -- lighting the way to brighter futures through exposure to Art, Education, Cultural experiences, and Community Connections.
Carry the Light
Join us for the parade! The route will be approximately 2 miles, so participants should be prepared for a festive evening of walking, celebrating, and sharing the Museum’s light throughout the community.
We hope you’ll grab your creative spirit, make a lantern, and carry the light with us!
