Become a Chrysler Cares Volunteer!

The Chrysler Museum welcomes community members to connect with art, creativity, and our shared humanity through volunteering. Individuals interested in volunteering are invited to learn more about the Chrysler Cares Volunteer Program and the different opportunities available during a Volunteer Open House at 1pm on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

The benefits of volunteering extend beyond supporting the Museum; they can also improve quality of life in surprising ways! Volunteering has been shown to reduce stress, increase life expectancy, provide a sense of purpose, and maintain and boost cognitive function. Plus, volunteering at the Chrysler Museum is a total win-win! Time spent around art is great for improving mood, boosting neuroplasticity, sharpening focus, and increasing empathy.

Currently, the Chrysler Museum is seeking volunteers to support a variety of areas, including outreach, learning and engagement programming, special events, archives, the library, and more. Volunteer candidates must be eighteen years or older and be Chrysler Museum members or willing to become members. If membership would present a financial hardship, scholarship funds are available to support accepted applicants. Because the Museum communicates with volunteers through an online platform, volunteers should have an email address, internet access, and basic computer skills. A background check is also required.
